Set in a Catholic school in the Bronx in Autumn 1964, ‘Doubt: A Parable’ focuses on head nun Sister Aloysius’ suspicions, that the young and enthusiastic Father Flynn is having an improper relationship with an African-American altar boy, Donald Muller.
Auditions for this production will be held on Sunday 7th November @7pm in Wexford Gaelscoil, Bishopswater, Wexford, and audition pieces can be arranged by contacting the number below.The roles are:
Sister Aloysius: The head nun and principal of St Nicholas School. (Approx age 40+)
Father Flynn: A new priest. Articulate and personable. (Approx age 30+)
Sister James: A young nun. An enthusiastic but inexperienced teacher. (Approx age 18+)
Mrs. Muller: The mother of Donald Muller. ( Approx age 30+, African –American)
